New December 13th, 2004: My new Weapon of Choice!

My new camera is a Nikon D70 digital SLR. I use it with the kit lens and I got the SB-800 speedlight flash to beef it up a bit. My newest addition to the menagerie is a SanDisk UltraII card, which is great for capturing those one-of-a-kind motion shots. I don't have any standing strobes or anything of the sort quite yet, but I'm working on it. This all costs money, you know! All in good time! :)

I thought I would show you how my dog Missy looks with long fur! Isn't she gorgeous? :) She is a Finnish Spitz, as far as I can guess. Missy is my darling, my white shadow, my confidante. I rescued her from the SPCA in 2001 and we've been inseparable ever since.

February 11th, 2005: I thought this needed updating considering all the changes in the last year, so here we go!

Missy and myself live together. We take walks down to the beach or to the video store as often as possible. :) I love to garden, but I'm currently in a place with no decent sun and no space to plant things, so that hobby is a little cramped for the moment. I really do enjoy doing my site, and I have a lot of fun with it and put a lot of work into it, so I hope you like it, too! I don't just do it for my own health, you know. ;)

I live in the quiet suburbs of Vancouver, Canada. From the main road at the top of the hill I can see all of Vancouver from the coast to the Patullo Bridge framed by snowcapped mountains to the north and the east. If I go up the hill to the south, I can see Mount Baker in all its snowy, sleeping volcano glory. Really, though, it's quite warm here. It's not like I have sled dogs or anything! ;)

This (to the right) is a blackmail picture that I swore I would never post anywhere, but I guess if you really want to know the real me, this is about as real as I can get! That's just me in my grubbies, wearing a Dikhedz cap! (Which is actually a pair of men's briefs!!)

I like to go to barmeets whenever I can. This picture was taken at one in 2001 at the Paradise Club in Vancouver, BC. I was busy kissing business cards to put lipprints on them, I think! Hey, it beat signing them all! :)
